Cartoon Network

Just had the video player/recorder relinked back to the tv to be used. And to test it out, grabbed some random unlabeled tapes from the cupboard and shoved it in the player. And guess what was on ...

... Cartoon Network! =D

... with dubbed Sailormoon! hahahahahahahaha XD

omgsh, so so entertaining to watch again. I sat there for like half an hr just watching the eps. Don't know what season but it's the one with the "evil" red girl and blue guy.
Just reminds me of the reasons why I hate dubbed anime, no matter what the anime is. I mean like, to me, compared to some of the stuff that's come out since then, Sailormoon is pretty decent and like the good old original first time ish major hit type anime. Personally, the inner me likes Sailormoon to some extend, LOL *gets tomatoes chucked at me* But anyway yeah, back to the point, dubbed anime. Is very bad. No matter what anime. Names are weird, translated speech/sentences aren't the best (some of them sound so corny, like when the girl dies, the guys like "NOOOO!!!! DON'T LEAVE MEEEE!" roflmao), SOUNDS FX and MUSIC (either OP or ED) *key issue!!!* are different ... lol, dubbed anime just don't work. To be Sailormoon specific, all their voices either make themselves sound way older than they should be or make them sound like a bunch of stuck up little kids.

Aah XD
The good old days when cartoon network still existed and had dubbed Sailormoon. Makes me wanna watch Sailormoon all over again ...

..... Not?

Who knows =P

Headaches suck, to the max

Hmm ... 9.30am at the moment and so bored, lol. Class doesn't start til another half hour and so instead of navigating myself around uni to find some fellow friends to bum around with for a while, decided to go to the library and do some work (? *coughcough)... but found A-lice =P
zomgsh, massive headache right now. Woke up and nearly crashed into the cupboard door because my head was feeling like it was swimming around. Now, each time I cough or sneeze or whatever, there's a throbbing pain that shoots up into my head. sighs. Been feeling like crap since Thursday. No idea why ... but my body just feels like it's in shut down mode. Feeling so abnormally dead tired. What on earth is going on with me x_x Getting old lolol, body isn't coping with all this stress (or lack of, haha)
Well ... what's happened since last? Uni started and I must say it isn't very interesting yet. Laws is positively boring if not for the fact that the lecturer is a pretty decent one and is still able to maintain some amount of my concentration span. Stats is just the usual copy maths from the board and process in your brain, haha. I think I'm actually getting used to this subject and it's not being as bad as it first started out to be (since last semester). Accounting ... HM =_= Worst. Lecture. And Lecturer. Ever. Random accent that takes way too much concentration levels to decipher and then understand. He also can't really teach the course stuff all that well. I'm so glad that I learnt accounting back at high school otherwise I would be feeling so totally stuffed right now. So glad for the enthusiastic teachers back then and how effectively they were able to teach the content straight to the point without a hundred million pauses and talking about the same thing over and over again when it all could really be simplified down to a few sentences. Sigh. I really don't know how I'm going to be able to survive another 11 weeks or so of accounting lectures. Potential skipping is something I foresee ...... XD
Class now. Update later.
I be back. Tis night time now. And my headache is still in existence *cries* What am I going to do with myself.
So continuing on from before. Last course to give a boring update on is Macro! Twas very interesting I must say ... though only in the first week. Second week got reaaally boring, or maybe it was due to the fact that I was super dead tired. Either way, I think macro is going to be one of those up down up down interesting courses.

So that was one positively boring entry about my courses for this semester. My brain isn't functioning well enough to write anything else more entertaining atm. I really must get a move on with my work. I have done (near to) nothing since uni has started. Can't find the motivation. Anyways, brain is about to die. I hope I'm able to stay alive to survive the rest of the week before getting some rest again. z_z

Sudden revelation: It's August now .... piano exam in like, 3 weeks?!?!?! *crashes into a wall and dies* I am so not ready =(

Spaghetti Bolognaise

Times like waking up at 10.30, wondering downstairs at 11 and being faced with the decision of what to eat is such a long and hard process. First you think: "So there's about an hr til lunch or so called time for lunch... do I fill myself up now or eat something little and wait til later before eating an actual lunch?" Then after making your mind up about that, you either: Option 1) Find some biscuits or a slice of bread (if you choose to eat something little and wait for lunch) or Option 2) Begin to search the house for food options (if you decide to fill yourself up asap).
So I chose option 2 because I was starving (*gasp* everyone is shocked). Begin my expedition to find what food was in the house. Open the fridge, faced with leftovers, made a face (not because it was bad, I just didn't want to eat it or rice at that time of day yet). Wandered to the pantry and was faced with packet instant pasta stuffs, made a face deciding against instant pasta (which basically takes about the same amount of time to cook in the microwave as opposed to starting from scratch yourself and cooking the pasta/sauce etc) when *lightbulb*, decided to investigate if we actually had plain pasta or specifically, spaghetti, hanging around the house. Tada! We did! Spaghetti time!! Was gonna make some cheesy cream sauce with tuna but then decided to make some bolognaise just because I hadn't had it in a while.
Next expedition was to find my wanted ingredients.
- Minced beef. Yay (after searching for a while >_>)
- Tomatoes. Lots. Double yay.
- Canned tomatoes/tomato paste (for stronger taste). Yes. Triple yay.
- Some kinda herbs, whether it be basil/parsley/whatever. None/a year overdue o_O. Booo =(
- Cheeeeeese
So after all that was done, cooking time!
*skips the cooking process* =P
Ten minutes (ish) later, finished! Foodtime!
Anyway I had a revelation on how to prepare the plate of spaghetti. First you gotta make sure everything is still relatively warm/hot. Place the spaghetti on the plate, then some grated cheese and THEN put the sauce on top of everything. By doing this, the cheese doesn't form a massive yellow blob on top of the sauce and will look nice (in my opinion anyway) And then like, when you start eating the pasta, the sauce and the (should be) now melted cheese will be twisted along with the pasta, giving you a mouthful of cheesy tasting pasta with sauce! I used to sprinkle the cheese on top of the sauce or add in the cheese whilst cooking the sauce, however, this method by far, is the best yet ... to me anyway XD Spaghetti bolognaise~ *drool*
So that was my morning cooking adventure =P Yay for having Tuesdays off uni. I get to cook myself some breakfast (if I wake up that early) or some nicer lunch as opposed to eating not that tasty and expensive food in uni. Or cup noodles or just plain noodles from home with no meat *cries* just because mum being paranoid about meat going off and me not wanting to use the microwaves. Tuesdays are now going to be my cooking adventure days! =D

Conversation with Michael - what a great idea would this be: Spaghetti and meatball pie! Make the meatballs, cook the spaghetti, make the sauce, throw everything together. Grab a ceramic bowl and line it with pastry, chuck in the spaghetti and meatballs, add some cheese on top, top the whole dish with a layer of pastry and then shove it in the oven to bake for a while. Then, tada! Spaghetti and meatball pie. Really going to invest some time and try it some day. I'm guessing it'll be like pasta bake with pastry, hehe.

Room Cleaning Episode 2

So I've continued to clean my room. "Sure took you a while" you must think ... and yes it has. I've been either too lazy, too tired or haven't had the sufficient time. Anyway just some more adventures/things I've found.
- Plastic bag with a massive smiley face with the words "Thank you! Have a nice day"
- An umbrella tag ... quite entertaining to read (to me anyway.) The umbrella itself is called the "Super Pocket Mini" haha XD and the info/warning tag goes something like this:

<<>>
- This product has a pointed end. Be sure to check the safety of your surroundings before using this umbrella.
- Do not use the umbrella as a walking stick.
- Do not use the umbrella if the handle or the rib tips are damaged.
- Do not swing or throw the umbrella around.
- Do not use the umbrella against gale force wind as it may break.
- Do no touch the rib structure of the umbrella.
- When the umbrella is not completely dry, keep it away from clothing and other items as it may cause colour transfer.
* Please watch young children when they use the umbrella.

- Plastic bags become very brittle after being in the sun for a long time ... it kinda just disintegrates in your hands in flakes =S
- What was once a fully pink bag is now fully white

That's it for now, but the list will grow longer as my adventures continue =P

Rain!

Yesterday made me realise how much I rely on communication technology nowadays, or also the fact that without it, there would be so many issues of communication within the world today. Stupid Optus line and whatever happened to it, lol. Thank goodness for bumping into a friend! At least other phone networks worked! ... too bad the people I needed to get in contact with were on Optus network. Luckily, the problem got fixed later midday. So much drama in one morning, sighs XD
On the other hand, Kung Fu Panda was funny. Watching funny movies in a cinema makes me go <_<>_> cuz I find myself laughing at bits that other people don't laugh in ... which is very awkward ._.
Stupid lady at the fuel station today, lol. Car was already on the wrong side of a fuel pump and additionally, she didn't have enough skills to maneuver her car into the right position so she could drag/stretch the pump to the proper side. So she drives in and parks the car and attempts to fuel up. No success. Starts the car up again, drives forward slowly to the next available space, parks, car, gets out and attempts once again. No success. Steps repeated for the next one. I should also note that this is happening during busy times, ie. where cars are all lined up and also lined up OUT of the fuel station and also where cars are still on the roads waiting and unable to turn into the station. So yeah, I'm behind wondering what smart move the lady was gonna do next ... to which after several drive/reverse maneuvers, she positions her car in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION to everyone else = =" At this time, our car is parked and fueling up behind it, as is another car behind us. Lady gets out, retrieves the pump, comes to the final revelation that it is not long enough to stretch to the back of the car even though the hole is on the correct side, makes a face and goes to sit back in her car. I be eating peanuts whilst watching all this happening and waiting for mum to finish fueling up. Lady suddenly gets out of the car, says a few things and does a few hand movements which to me, as I was in the car and couldn't hear anything, seemed to have meant "When you're finished, can you drive out beside my car so I can fuel up" and gets back into the car. Ha, right lady, sif. There is like nil space between the cars. I turn down the window to ask mum what she said and she goes "I don't know". HAHA. Mum goes into queue up and pay for fuel. Lady suddenly starts car, reverses, and leaves the fuel station. lolololol ... in the distance I see her waiting at the traffic lights to make a u-turn and probably return to the fuel station and restart lining up. haha, what a waste of time. After fueling up, we u-turned at the traffic lights and went past the fuel station again, and I couldn't see the car in the any queue. lolol, silly lady. Mum was like "Oh well, she probably had plenty of time, so I guess it doesn't matter." haha XD Who knew fueling up could be such an adventure.
zomg, I'm such a noob. Was staring at the word "que" thinking that it just did not look like it was spelt right. Took me a while to figure that it was actually supposed to be "queue".
SIGH.

Feels good to have had some catch up time with friends =) Yolanda, wishing you all the best with your future endeavors and with your studies - you will definitely achieve what you aim for, as always =) You probably won't ever read this but who knows, you might stumble across this one day haha

Sick. Warning: random complaint infested rant.

I hate being sick. Makes me feel like crap. And I also just found out 2 hrs ago that I've been taking medicine that makes me drowsy. No wonder I've been feeling all snoozy for the entire day. Stupid throat, I sound so retarded. And now my nose is half playing up. Blergh.

Camp was 2 weeks ago. I might do some entry on it in the near future. I probably won't though, since I'm so lazy, but we'll see. It also depends on my memory too. All I can say for now though is that the talks were really good, the food was excellent and that games out in the cold sucked. Sorry to Tim and Sven if they happen to stumble across reading this some day. The games were fine, but the fact that it was very cold and that there was wind wasn't.
Work has been .... crazy, to say the least. I can't find an appropriate word to sum it all up. I nearly worked 40 hrs the whole of last week. That's Monday to Saturday with only Tuesday off. zomg. That's probably the reason why I've gotten sick. sigh. I really hope the workload lightens up and that a full time person can be found and more help given. There's way too much stock, too many jobs, too little time, not enough sufficiently experienced people to do everything the manager's satisfactory standard and urgh I dunno. Personally I think everyone is doing a great job in their part to do the best to help out around the place. But seriously, sometimes there is way too much and we really can't cope. And break times, die. I get 15 minutes from working 8am to 7pm. I really should do some sorta complaning but hey, not in my nature to. Maybe I should start and change that.
Sign ons are a bum. Especially if they're spread out all over one morning, ie. today. Sign on activity happening from 9 til 11 at half hourly intervals. It's such a drag. And then there's the lag. And the occassional stuff up. At least nothing went majorly wrong, my timetable is the way I've wanted it to be and haven't had to do any serious changes. Finding more people who are doing the same course and same class times and stuff. So that's a good plus.
I want to clean my room, but there hasn't been enough time. Or rather, when I do have the time, it's either after something and I'm super tired and stuff so I end up can't-be-bothered-to-clean-up-my-room-and-will-instead-bum. Then there's also trying to arrange times to spend time with people but that's also not happening. Such is life. Busy work factors is such a pain. I'm annoyed. I'm tired. My brain is shutting down. zzzz. I want to watch Kung Fu Panda, friend however just so happen to suddenly change some times, might not get to watch it. Wah. I be sad.

Is cappuccino or latte stronger?

Room cleaning

Wow. Room cleaning is seriously such an adventure ... maybe more so for me because I haven't cleaned my room in say like, a million years (probably around a year). Room cleaning enables you find things that you didn't know you had, or rediscover things which you've replaced since however long ago.
I just went through a pile of paper and found a whole heap of my artwork/sketches from 2/3 years ago ... which I didn't know I still had. I thought I chucked them out last time I cleaned up, but obviously not >_>; So many sketches! Most of them look so stupid and amateur ... a few of them good (yay!) So many Saiyuki sketches! zomg. I actually quite miss sketching all the Saiyuki pictures. They were such a good source for practice and everything ... they ARE a good source. I miss reading Kazuya Minekura's works =(

Well the first week of holidays have gone by. Activities include picnicking, movie watching, room cleaning, working and badminton watching! Hope I get more space out time. Camp next week, don't know how that'll be this year, feeling slightly iffy about it for some reason. Eh *shrugs*.
Hope everyone is having a fun holidays where ever you've gone to ... either still here or overseas. Stay safe and warm!

Excellent

Semester One of Uni over.
Exams over.
One month of holidays.

Excellent.

Some highlights over the past month:
- Munted weather: several days of rainy cold days followed by a day of sunshine consequently followed by more gloomy days OR thick fog OR fully warm days ... haven't experienced such abnormal winter weather
- Eating fully crap dumplings at some food place ... and so $$$ as well ... what a rip
- Being poked about being short and it's relatedness
- Monica realising that her jacket was missing and running for her life
- Hailey and her "It YOOKS!" (Chinglish) and making people say "Irish Wristwatch" x 10
- Realising at work that an order was supposed to be made for another day and subsequently trying to untie a tied up balloon (doesn't work ... don't try)
- Nearly getting run over by a car at church =(
- Further being commented about being short, being whacked, being poked
- Trivia night and the group's making up of answers / "Name the 3 Beckham kids" "Uh ... Brooklyn, Romeo and .... eh, I dunno just write Peckham" / "Who were the 4 people in the Kelly gang?" "Well Ned obviously ... then uh ... Ted, Fred and Ed"
- "Noo! Too. Much. Potato *death stares wedge*" .... "IT"S EXPANDING" WHOOSH
- Waking up at late/early/odd/random times
- Hearing "Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O", while trying to cram study.
- Further comments on height, being poked, being whacked, etc

I must say, it is quite nice to know that I don't have to think about anything uni/study related for a whole month. The semester couldn't have possibly been longer. But maybe it's the fact that I'm becoming more and more lazy and am doing things just for the sake of doing it. Eh, that's pretty sad. Where's my direction and motivation all gone.
Too much has happened over the past month. Happy, sad, strange, weird, random, whatever. Time flashes by so quickly. Sometimes I wish things would just speed up and sometimes, I just wish time would slow down and let me drown myself in moments where I feel I am at ease and enjoy myself. Most importantly, I want some major me time. Hence, I am so glad there is a whole month ahead of me where I can do whatever I want, without deadlines and whatnot. I feel like I've said that to myself so many times before already.

Vampire Knight. Anime. Manga. Whatever. Read it. It's good.
Still ongoing so the problem is that you have to wait for each episode to slowly come out.
OP (ON/OFF - Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi)/ED (Kanon Wakeshima - Still Doll) songs are so good. It's those kinda songs that make you go o_O; when you first listen to it, however the more you listen to it, the more you grow to like it.
Just make sure you search and listen =P

Time for a layout change sometime.

Time for some bloggin'

I randomly decided to change my password a couple of weeks ago. But being me, between then and now, I forget what I changed it to. So I go through the "Send me an email!" thing to retrieve it. And this is the opening sentence:
"Hi you big forgetful lunkhead."
... soo no comment. Anyways, time to get back to some work. More later!

lolol ... jks.
I'm just thinking, why do people blog anyway. But then again, now that I think about it, there's actually a large assortment of reasons, so that was just a really stupid question by me, yet again.

Uni ... has been pretty ok? I don't even know how to describe it. I guess I'm pretty much settled in to the "uni lifestyle", but then again it's like, nearly the end of the semester. We got the lecs, the tutes, the PASS, the homework (weekly/fortnightly quizzes), the assignments, the exams (the ones that have gone and the ones to come). I'm finding that I'm doing my learning in tutes and the PASS adds onto that, THEN the lectures make more sense. Pretty stupid. But we'll say that's just me. But yeah, there's really not much else to uni ... it's kinda boring actually, if not for the fact that I'm able to see friends between breaks and whatnot. eh~ *shrugs*
Not much else has been happening out of uni life. Mother's Day was a couple of days ago. Outing/picnic with family friends and just sat around grazing on junk and talking. Such a great combination. Following that, we went over to friends place for dinner but that dinner was KFC. Extra junky day. Yum. And the Wii does not help whatsoever =P RICE was last Saturday and that was pretty good. Last Monday ... Josh's bday party. Game and food filled. And then uuh ... couple of bdays passed in the past month or so. What else? Oh yeah, working at early/late hours. Boo. And that's about it.

Man, why did I blog. I've totally forgotten my reason to do so other that report what's been happening around the place. Getting distracted too easily. The time between me starting this entry and posting this entry was like, an hour plus.

Til next time~

So not cool.

Why does my desktop always decide to kill itself sometime in the middle of a term/semester??? Or near some important time when I need to use it for studying and finishing up assignments?!?!
Thank goodness I backup my files once ever so often. Otherwise I'd dig myself a hole atm and not come out.
Still though ... I have tonnes of other stuff stored in the computer, I don't wanna be continually wasting my time reinstalling software because we have to keep reformatting it.

Aaaaarrgh *headdesk*... this is so stupid! And I don't know where the comp disks are hidden in the house -_-"

Not cool.
